Quadro Design has extensive experience helping mine sites improve the performance and longevity of existing equipment, documenting changes to equipment or additions to equipment as well as expansion or upgrade proposals. Some of the tasks that we have assisted minesites with include:
- Chute re-design to solve premature liner failure or poor belt loading,
- Diverter gate design,
- Conditioning circuit upgrades including additional tanks, footings, pumps, pipework, access stairs, ladders and platforms,
- Additional cyclones including associated steelwork, chutes and pipework,
- Relocation of equipment such as tanks, feeders, screens, stackers etc including associated steelwork and access.
Our team are using the very latest in 3D design and drafting software, plus we can utilise the latest in 3D laser scanning to accurately model existing plant structure and systems to ensure a seamless tie-in for any additional work. We manually site measure smaller areas of the plant that do not warrant a 3D laser scan.
Jack de Blank is our principal materials handling expert with 30 plus years experience, in the field, especially in areas such as chute design, transfer stations, mill liners, etc.
